Ingredients:

  • 200g unsalted butter
  • 200g brown sugar
  • 200g honey
  • 400g porridge oats
  • 50g dried fruit (optional)

 

Method:

Heat oven to 180C and grease and line a baking tin.

Melt butter, sugar and honey in big saucepan and then remove from heat. Stir in the oats (and fruit) before pouring into the tin, aim for 2cm thickness.

Bake for 20 mins and then cool completely before eating – although flapjacks warm are mighty tasty.
