15 minute pasta by Mary Berry
350g penne pasta
2tbsp vegetable oil
160g parma ham /bacon
200g full fat crème fraiche / double cream
2tbsp chopped parsley
Cook pasta according to instructions on packet before draining and setting aside.
Pan fry half the ham/bacon until crisp and then remove from pan.
Add mushrooms to the pan, fry for 2mins before adding crème fraiche/double cream and bring to the boil.
Add the pasta, Parmesan, remaining ham, parsley and toss together over the heat. Season well and serve topped with the crispy ham/bacon and possibly bread and green salad. https://thehappyfoodie.co.uk/recipes/15-minute-pasta
